A 27-year-old convicted felon is wanted for aggravated robbery after he allegedly got into an 84-year-old man’s vehicle while stopped at a red light on FM 1960 and demanded money, according to records.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office got called to the 600 block of FM 1960 on Dec. 22 after the victim said he was stopped at a red light and a man, identified as Lade Harrison, walked toward his car while waving his arms, before reaching in an open passenger window to open the door and getting in the passenger seat, according to records.

Harrison allegedly demanded money from the victim, who told him he didn’t have any cash, when Harrison started punching him in the face and head.

Records show Harrison then got out of the car and went to the driver side and continued punching the elderly victim to the point that his glasses got knocked off and his hearing aids fell out.
Harrison ran away with the victim’s wallet, which he allegedly took from the victim’s back pocket, according to records.
When the Harris County Sherrif’s Office responded and began processing the scene, investigators found a cell phone on the floorboard of the passenger side of the vehicle. The screen showed a screenshot of an Instagram account with Harrison’s name.
911 callers and the victim’s description of Harrison matched a previous description that investigators found in records, and a witness positively identified Harrison through a photo lineup.
Records show Harrison has previous drug convictions, but he has not been arrested on this new felony charge.
