Body found at Lake Conroe after search near FM 1097 bridge
Emergency teams from the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office, Conroe Fire, and Texas Parks and Wildlife are actively searching Lake Conroe after a person went missing near the FM 1097 bridge. (Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable)
After several hours of searching near the FM 1097 bridge, Montgomery County officials confirmed that a body was recovered from Lake Conroe .
Authorities have confirmed that the body recovered was that of the missing individual and it has been determined that no foul play is suspected.
The Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office deployed several units, including the Pct. 1 Lake Units, the Constable Dive Team, and both Conroe Fire Boat 6 and Fire Boat 94. Texas Parks and Wildlife is also assisting in the search.
