Details are limited, but according to Precinct 4, deputy constables were called to a drowning on Creekside Green Drive near Kuykhendahl Road a little after 9:15 p.m. along with The Woodlands Fire Department.
When they arrived, investigators said they learned an unidentified 19-year-old man went into the water but hadn’t resurfaced and was missing for about 20 minutes.

Firefighters combed the area, and once the rescue boat arrived, they were able to use a scanning sonar to find and later recover the 19-year-old’s body.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the young man who lost his life,” Constable Mark Herman said in a social media post. “This is a devastating tragedy, and our thoughts are with everyone affected.”
