Galveston police are investigating a deadly shooting early Wednesday morning that left one man dead and two others hospitalized.
Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 2400 block of Avenue E. They found a 31-year-old man inside a vehicle suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, was found nearby at the intersection of 25th Street and Avenue G.
A third man, 25, was located later in the 2400 block of Avenue H with injuries unrelated to gunfire. Both were taken to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released additional details.
