COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Authorities have arrested three men from Houston in connection with multiple residential burglaries that targeted homes during the day in Brazos County. The suspects were tracked following tips and surveillance efforts.

The suspects, Carlos Daniel Cordova-Valencia, Jann Hayler Cuero-Garces, and Bryan Fernando Nunez-Arboleda, were taken into custody after officers tracked a vehicle believed to be involved in several break-ins.

Investigators say the group targeted homes during broad daylight hours. One person would knock on the front door, posing as a service provider, while the others waited in the backyard. If no one answered, the suspects would force entry into the home through the back.

Thanks to surveillance footage, witness statements, and community tips, authorities identified the suspects’ vehicle as a white Ford F-150. On June 18, Bryan police spotted the truck in a neighborhood that had previously reported burglaries.

The vehicle was followed into the Oakmont and Raintree neighborhoods, where officers observed suspects returning to the truck after walking through several backyards. Following a traffic stop in College Station, the three suspects were arrested and booked into Brazos County Jail for attempted burglary and possession of criminal instruments.

Investigators also confirmed that Cordova-Valencia had an outstanding warrant from Harris County for assault involving family violence and impeding breath.

Officials say more charges may be filed as the investigation continues and thanked the community for providing key evidence, like home surveillance footage that helped advance the case.

The investigation involved a coordinated effort by the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office, Bryan Police Department, and College Station Police Department.
