Truck seen hanging over guardrail after crash near Buffalo Bayou, 1 hospitalized

HOUSTON – A driver was rushed to a hospital overnight Friday after a crash where one of the vehicles was seen hanging over the guardrail.

It happened around midnight when Houston Police and firefighters were called to the intersection of Montrose and Allen Parkway.

Details as to how the crash unfolded were not clear, as of this writing, but at least one person was treated for injuries at the scene and taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The inbound lanes of Allen Parkway were shut down until crews were able to remove the truck from the guardrail and potentially falling onto the roadway.

It does not appear anyone was seriously injured or showed signs of impairment, so no one was arrested.
