Major traffic disruptions coming this weekend for ongoing TxDOT project on I-45 N

HOUSTON – Heads up Houston! If you have plans this weekend, you’ll want to keep an eye out for some major closures as The Texas Department of Transportation continues a repair project.
Crews will be working on pavement improvements on the I-45 North Freeway from I-610 North Loop to Cypresswood Drive.
Traffic is sure to back up so make sure you plan ahead.
From 9 p.m. Friday, September 13 through 5 a.m. Monday, September 16 there will be multiple lane closures along I-45 North Freeway.
Those lanes include:
I-45 North Freeway northbound at W. Little York Road.
Alternating lanes closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, September 13 until 5 a.m. on Monday, September 16.
I-45 North Freeway southbound at W. Little York Road.
One left lane closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, September 13 until 5 a.m. on Monday, September 16.
I-45 North Freeway southbound at Rankin Road.
Left lanes closed from 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 15 until 5 a.m. on Monday, September 16.
The $2.8 million project is slated to be done at the end of this year.
