Astros’ retractable roof to be closed for Game 7 of ALCS against Rangers

The retractable roof at Minute Maid will remain closed for Game 7 of the AL Championship Series on Monday night.

The retractable roof was last opened on Oct. 8 for Game 2 of the AL Division series between the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins.

There is speculation among fans that the team performs better when the roof is closed and players have been quoted as saying they prefer that the retractable roof remains shut.
