Driver pinned inside vehicle, rescued after crash in N Houston

A man was pinned inside his vehicle after being struck by another driver, Houston police said. The impact pushed the victim's car onto its side and the driver was recused by the Houston Fire Department. 

The crash was reported around 5:30 a.m. Saturday when a truck was traveling eastbound on West Little York Road and crashed into the side of an SUV that was traveling northbound on the North Freeway feeder road, officials said.

Police said they are working to determine which vehicle may have ran a red light.

The driver of the SUV was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, police said. Investigators are working to determine if alcohol was a factor in this crash.
