New thermal bra for breast cancer survivors

GRAND RAPID, MI – A new thermal bra designed with breast cancer survivors in mind is now on the market.

The woman behind the idea is Jodie Faber, also a breast cancer survivor.

Faber said she noticed she had problems staying warm when she got silicone breast implants after her double mastectomy.

Through her daughter's encouragement, Faber came up with this bra as a solution.

She collaborated with Central Michigan University to make the thermal bra a reality.

"My first thought when I put that bra on was 'I'm normal,'" Faber said, "That's how I felt. It was nice to feel normal."

The thermal bra costs $170.
