Employee finds coworker dead inside Alief business with blunt force trauma; police investigating as homicide

HOUSTON – Houston police are trying to determine how and when a man was killed after an employee found a coworker dead inside a business.
It happened at 10515 Bellaire Blvd at Tropical Tea.
According to police, an employee came to check on an overnight employee because they had not heard from him all morning. The employee entered the business and found the other employee dead in the kitchen area. The victim reportedly had obvious blunt force trauma.
Homicide at Tropical Tea (KPRC 2) Police say the front door of the business was locked, but the rear was unlocked when officers began investigating. They also say the victim’s vehicle appeared to be missing.
