Teen pimp brought underage girl to Houston via app, forced her into prostitution, authorities say

HOUSTON – A 13-year-old runaway is now in CPS custody after being rescued from a man who forced her into prostitution.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said deputies received a tip Tuesday that in the 23600 block of Tree House Lane, a juvenile was being held against her will.

Deputies said they found the girl in a vehicle with a man she claimed had forced her into prostitution.

According to authorities, that man is Kolbe Doyle, 19, of Fresno.

During Doyle's hearing in probable cause court Wednesday morning, prosecutors revealed disturbing details about the case.

"The defendant told her, 'I'm your pimp now and you're gonna hit some licks,'" a prosecutor told the judge.

It was the 13-year-old girl's sister who called the constable's office after getting alarming text messages from the runaway who had been missing for nine days. The teen told her sister she was being held against her will and forced into prostitution.

Investigators say the girl was actually trafficked twice, first meeting a man through Instagram, who picked her up and began pimping her. She then met Doyle through the dating app Plenty of Fish. She told authorities Doyle said he just wanted to chill and the girl thought she could help her escape the first man.

"He had brought her down here to Harris County from Fort Bend County with the presumption of being her boyfriend then it turned into full-scale prostitution of a 13-year-old female," said Constable Mark Herman.

Constable’s office officials said another person is suspected in the case and further charges are expected.

Doyle was arrested and is in the Harris County Jail. He’s charged with trafficking of a person (minor age) and compelling prostitution of a minor. His bond is set at $50,000.
