HOUSTON – A business owner shot and killed a man Monday who broke into his northwest Houston business, police said.
The owner of a business in a plaza in the 6100 block of Pinemont Dr. told police he was asleep inside the shop when he heard the man breaking in.
The business owner told police he grabbed his pistol, fired once, and shot the suspected intruder in the head.
Police are working with the Harris County District Attorney's Office to determine if charges will be filed.
Editor's note: In an earlier version of this story, KPRC 2 incorrectly named the business. Police have not released the name of the business or the name of the business owner.
