HOUSTON – A security gaurd shot and killed a man inside a northwest Houston nightclub Wednesday.
According to officers, the shooting was reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. at the Casanova Men's Club in the 2000 block of Antoine. Police said a man came into the business swinging a cane and threatening a security and customers.

Witnesses told police that the man got into a fight with a couple of people inside the club. Investigators said the security guard said he tried to intervene as the man was biting a customer.
The security guard said he feared for his life and the safety of others, so he shot the man, who was pronounced dead inside the nightclub. His name has not been released.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from inside the nightclub. No charges have been filed.
The case is expected to to be presented to a grand jury, Houston police said.
