Human skeletal remains found inside abandoned home near Texas Medical Center

HOUSTON – Houston homicide detectives are investigating after human skeletal remains were found inside an abandoned southeast Houston home Friday.

The remains were found inside a home at 6110 Bowling Green Street. Police said it appears the remains have been there for months.

Police said the remains may be those of a homeless man who neighbors said had been squatting at the house.

An autopsy  of the remains will determine cause of death and identity.

Police said there appears to be no foul play involved.
