The cold front has made it to the coast, so Thursday will be slightly cooler in the mid to upper 70s and a little less humid than the beginning of the week.
Friday, first street flooding threat:
Friday morning kicks off with another disturbance, bringing rain to the area.
Late Friday afternoon into evening looks to be the main event, as stronger storms are expected to develop along the front. This is when street flooding is most likely to happen, especially if storms stall over any given location. Because the storms are created by a small area of low pressure called a disturbance the timing and placement is hard to pinpoint. Stay tuned for timing updates.
Saturday’s street flooding threat:
Saturday brings yet another wave, smaller in area but possibly slow-moving, which could continue the threat for spotty flooding.
Mother’s Day Sunday:
By Sunday, most of the rain should move out, leaving only a small chance for leftover showers in the morning.
10 Day Forecast:
Past Sunday, the early part of next week looks dry with warm temperatures.
