Snapchat message used to lure robbery victim, 4 Travis High School students arrested

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Four Travis High School students have been arrested after police said they were involved in an aggravated robbery.

On Jan. 28 around 10:45 a.m., a teen received a Snapchap message from an acquaintance, inviting him to come over to his house on Lake Wichita Lane, near West Belfort and the Grand Parkway.

While he was at the house, four teens were holding guns and a Taser.

The victim was held at gunpoint and at one time the Taser was used.

He was told to hand over his wallet and cell phone.

After a gun was discharged, the victim ran from the house with the suspects in pursuit.

The victim made it to a coffee shop where he noticed a wound to his leg.

On Feb. 2, four students were arrested at Travis High School.

Mathew Stephens, 17, of Richmond, Robert Spikes Jr., 18, of Richmond, and Zachary Foltz, 18, of Richmond, are being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on aggravated robbery charges.

One juvenile suspect was taken to juvenile detention.
