Woman killed, hit-and-run driver sought by police

HOUSTON – Police are searching for the person responsible for a woman's death.

On June 2 around 9:32 p.m., Elizabeth Lizama was struck and killed by a vehicle in the 15400 block of Lee Road.

The driver did not stop to render aid, and Lizama was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they believe the vehicle involved in this accident is a red, 1999-2003 Ford truck.

Lizama's family is requesting the help of the community in finding the person, or people, responsible for this crime.
