Houston police are investigating after a bicyclist reported finding a decomposed body Monday evening in west Houston.
According to Houston Police Department Lt. Horelica, the bicyclist called 911 around 6:10 p.m. Aug. 10 after discovering the body in the vicinity of the 1400 block of N. Eldridge Parkway, near the Bayou Rifles – Addicks Range.
Due to the condition of the remains, police were unable to immediately determine the person’s age or gender.
The circumstances surrounding the death and the identity of the person remain under investigation.
