CONROE, Texas – A 23-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison for a violent attack on a pregnant convenience store clerk in Conroe in April 2025.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says Logan Michael Parker will have to spend at least 30 years behind bars before being eligible for parole after a jury found him guilty of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping.

After a multi-day trial, the guilty verdicts were returned on Aug. 5. During the punishment phase of the trial on Aug. 6, the jury only needed a brief deliberation to determine that life in prison was the appropriate punishment, finding both enhancement allegations true and assessing two concurrent life sentences.
Evidence presented at trial showed Parker entered a gas station on SH 105 shortly after midnight to purchase a drink.
When his card was declined, the clerk voided the transaction and used her employee discount so he could leave with the drink free of charge. Minutes later, Parker returned, parked behind the business, turned off his headlights, and deliberately targeted the lone employee. He forced the pregnant clerk into a restroom, threatened her life, sexually assaulted her, stole her cell phone, and fled.
After escaping, the victim remained hidden until she believed it was safe to seek help from customers entering the store. One customer immediately called 911.
The Conroe Police Department quickly launched an extensive investigation that ultimately led to uncovering surveillance footage, DNA evidence, digital forensic analysis, cellular records, vehicle location data, and other forensic evidence that prosecutors ultimately presented to the jury.
“This case was built on three things: a survivor’s courage, exceptional police work, and the facts. The Conroe Police Department conducted an outstanding investigation, and the evidence left no question about who committed these crimes. The jury recognized that, and because of their verdict, a dangerous offender has been removed from our community,” said Chief Prosecutor Laura Hill.
“The facts of this case are difficult to read because they reveal calculated evil. A woman showed this defendant compassion. He repaid that kindness by returning to the store and committing an unspeakable act of violence against the very person who helped him. Thanks to the extraordinary courage of the survivor, the outstanding work of the Conroe Police Department, and the commitment of Chief Prosecutor Laura Hill, Division Chief Shanna Redwine, and the entire prosecution team, this defendant will spend at least the next three decades behind bars before he is eligible for parole,” said Montgomery County District Attorney Mike Holley.
