HOUSTON – Police said a man was arrested after he claimed winnings on lottery tickets that were stolen.
According to police, Robert Earl Green, 39, was accompanied by a woman when he walked into the Z's Shell Food Mart at 12123 West Road in Jersey Village on Feb. 27 and stole an entire display of Texas Lottery scratch off tickets.

An officer reported a similar theft with similar suspects and vehicle at a Tomball business.
Detectives found the vehicle, a sedan with dark tinted windows and Texas plate GJJ4439, to be the same one at both crime scenes. They found the vehicle was registered to Robert Earl Green.
Further investigation showed the Texas Lottery Commission listed tickets that were fraudulently redeemed after they were stolen by the couple from multiple different businesses.
Officials said three tickets stolen from Z's Shell Food Mart were redeemed illegally for $70, $100 and $50 at a Houston Kroger.
Green was arrested and charged with claiming lottery prize by fraud. He bail was issued at $10,000.
