Bret Gardner charged with possession, promotion of child pornography
Bret GarderLA PORTE, Texas – A man has been accused of possessing and promoting thousands of images of child pornography.
Bret Lee Gardner, 22, has been charged with two counts of promotion of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography.
La Porte police said they conducted a proactive Internet investigation and received numerous downloads of child pornography from Gardner's residence.
Investigators said they searched Gardner's home and found several thousand images on his computer that showed children engaged in sexual acts.
Gardner has been jailed with bond set at $500,000.
