The historic country store and culinary destination has become a must-stop at the Fischer & Wieser Farmstead, and of course there are peaches - but there’s so much more!
Das Peach Haus started as a humble roadside peach stand in 1969, growing out of the Wieser family’s peach orchard. Today, it has evolved into a full-blown Hill Country food-and-drink destination.
Inside the historic building, visitors can browse shelves packed with Fischer & Wieser specialty foods — from jams, jellies and preserves to sauces, salsas and other Texas-inspired goodies.
Das Peach Haus is also home to the Fischer & Wieser Culinary Adventure Cooking School, where visitors can take chef-led cooking classes and demonstrations. Classes range from Italian and French cuisine to tapas and Hill Country favorites, with some experiences including wine pairings and a full meal.
