You Don’t Need a Room Key to Enjoy Hotel Saint Augustine in Montrose

HOUSTON – Looking for your next happy hour spot or a unique night out in Houston? Hotel Saint Augustine is proving you don’t have to be an overnight guest to enjoy everything the boutique property has to offer.

Nestled in the heart of Montrose, the hotel has become a gathering place for locals thanks to its thoughtfully curated food, drinks and community events.

The hotel’s new happy hour, served in the Augustine Lounge, features a menu created by award-winning chef Aaron Bludorn. Just steps away, Perseid—Hotel Saint Augustine’s signature restaurant—continues to serve elevated Gulf Coast-inspired cuisine, also curated by Bludorn.

Houston Life’s Melanie Camp stopped by to sample some of the menu’s standout dishes, including the hotel’s viral crawfish corn dog that’s been creating plenty of buzz.

But Hotel Saint Augustine offers much more than great food.

Throughout the week, the hotel hosts a variety of events designed to bring both guests and Houstonians together. Current programming includes Global Sounds in the Augustine Lounge, while Perseid will soon launch Tuesday Jazz Night, adding live music to the hotel’s growing lineup of experiences.

Hotel Saint Augustine has also become known for its thoughtfully curated events that bring guests and Houston locals together. One of its signature weekly offerings is Drop the Needle, a Wednesday night vinyl listening party celebrating music and community. For Pride Month, the hotel transformed the popular event into Drag the Needle, with host Blackberri leading an evening of vinyl, dazzling drag performances and plenty of glamour.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed happy hour, a memorable dinner or an evening of music and community, Hotel Saint Augustine is becoming a destination that extends well beyond its guest rooms.

You’ll find Hotel Saint Augustine at 4110 Loretto Drive in the heart of Montrose, one of Houston’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods. With chef-curated dining, creative cocktails and a calendar of community events, it’s a spot that’s well worth a visit—even if you’re not checking in for the night.
