SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Sugar Land Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect accused of seriously injuring a woman earlier this summer.
Police say the attack happened Friday, June 5, 2026, a little before 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Creekbend Drive and Fluor Daniel Drive.

Investigators say the woman was walking in the area near Brooks Lake when an unknown man came up from behind and hit her with a baseball bat.
She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
As part of the ongoing investigation, a forensic sketch artist created a composite drawing of the suspect based on the description given by the victim. Investigators hope someone recognizes the man and can help identify him.
Police say the suspect was last seen leaving the area in an SUV, but the victim could not provide a definite color.
