HOUSTON – Theatre Under The Stars brings Beautiful: The Carole King Musical to the Hobby Center, a celebration of Carole King’s journey from teenage songwriter to music legend.
Before carving out a solo career with the landmark Tapestry album, King helped craft chart-toppers for artists including The Shirelles, The Drifters and Aretha Franklin — songs that shaped a generation. Expect a soundtrack of classics: “It’s Too Late,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “So Far Away” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”
