Houston – In just two years, a family-run shop known for treats like Dubai chocolate, kunafa, Turkish delights and specialty coffee has grown into a local favorite in Houston.
The Golden Roastery opened on Fondren Road in June 2024, quickly drawing customers from across the city and beyond. With such a high following, the family opened a second location on FM 1960 near Willowbrook Mall.
But what really makes this place stand out? It’s all family. Brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles all work together behind the counter and in the kitchen, making many items by hand.
Inside, you’ll find Turkish delights imported from Turkey, Arabic booza ice cream known for its stretchy texture, Turkish coffee brewed the traditional way over hot sand and more.
