HOUSTON – It’s Spring Break for many kids throughout the Houston area, and Discovery Green is kicking off the EOG Resources’ FUNomenal Spring Break! It’s four full days of spring break activities for kids of all ages happening Monday, March 9th through Thursday, March 12th from 12–4 p.m.
The event is packed with activities that blend fun, education, and hands-on experiences for kids of all ages, including interactive S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities – robotics, science experiments, coding, music, and just in time for spring break, Bumper Boats and LED Clear Kayaks are officially back!
They are up and running daily extended hours through March 15 (10 a.m. – 11 p.m.). Guests can hop into motorized bumper boats built for spinning and playful collisions (no captaining experience required), or paddle clear kayaks equipped with LED lights for a glowing-on-the-water experience beneath the downtown skyline. It’s $12 per boat, and kids under 12 ride with an adult.
