Houston, Texas – The Houston Rockets, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unity Foundation, and Kroger joined forces once again to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for Houston-area families. The triple-threat collaboration provided an estimated 1,000 turkeys and full Thanksgiving meal essentials to underserved households across the city.
The annual turkey giveaway entered it’s 5th year and has quickly become a fan favorite, attracting volunteers like the Rockets Rowdies and NBA Hall of Fame member, Calvin Murphy.
The collaboration between the Rockets, G-Unity, and Kroger has also become a cornerstone of the holiday season in Houston, offering not just groceries, but relief, gratitude, and a sense of community during a time when many families need it most.
Organizers say they’re proud to continue this tradition and hope to bring even more families together around the table for years to come.
