Get up and active this National Walking Day with these moves at home

Houston – National Walking Day, celebrated every first Tuesday of April, encourages everyone to get moving for better health. It was first introduced by the American Heart Association in 2007.

Health and fitness expert Dr. Ian Smith and fitness trainer Joey Thurman shared with Houston Life co-hosts Derrick Shore and Tessa Barrera some simple tips for improving your walking routine.
