Celebrate with the Chinese Community Center at their first-ever Mid-Autumn Moon Festival
HOUSTON – This Saturday, September 14, experience the festive Mid-Autumn celebration at The Chinese Community Center . There will be delicious Chinese food, art, music, and even free health checks and blood tests.
Also known as the Moon Festival, families traditionally gather together to celebrate the harvest season under a luminous full moon on the 15th day of the 8th month in the Chinese lunar calendar.
From tasty moon cakes to traditional musical performances, watch the video above on how the Chinese Community Center will celebrate this cherished holiday in Houston for the first time.
