The 37th annual Houston Art Car Festival & Parade rolls into town this weekend

HOUSTON – The Orange Show’s Houston Art Car Parade began in 1988 as a small gathering of 40 artists and just 2,000 spectators.

The following year the parade brought out tens of thousands of spectators -- and has been growing every year since.

This weekend, the Orange Show will host the 37th annual Houston Art Car Festival & Parade, showcasing more than 250 mobile masterpieces from across the country, including nearly 100 new, never-been-seen creations!

The parade officially begins Saturday at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Dallas and Bagby Streets, (on Allen Parkway) heading into Downtown before circling City Hall. The parade is FREE TO ATTEND.
