KPRC 2’s Spring Break Solar Blast; where to join us to grab free eclipse glasses

HOUSTON – We just kicked off our Spring Break Solar Blast week!

So...what does that mean?

Ahead of next month’s solar eclipse (April 8th) we want to make sure you have the proper eye wear to see it.

We teamed up with our friends at the Houston Camera Exchange to hand out special solar eclipse glasses at different locations all week - but you’ve got to be a KPRC 2 insider to get them!

We’ll be handing out glasses to Insiders each day, while supplies last, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

While we have the Houston Camera Exchange team out with us each day, and they can help answer questions for how to get photos or videos of the eclipse. You don’t want to point your camera at the sun without the proper lens!
