Cooking with pumpkin seeds: How to add a little fall flair to your everyday foods

HOUSTON – Save those pumpkin seeds this fall season! Cookbook author and blogger with My Diary of Us, Leigh Ann Chatagnier stopped by Houston Life with creative (and EASY) ways to add pumpkin seeds to your everyday recipes.

She suggests using them to top salads, yogurt bowls, toast and oatmeal.  If you prefer to snack on them, switch up the spices you use when roasting for added flavor.

For a unique recipe, try Leigh Ann’s Pepita Granola.  You can make it ahead of time and store it in an air-tight container for up to two weeks.
