2 easy ways to make Irish Coffee for St. Patrick’s Day

HOUSTON – If you want to bring the pub to your house for St Patrick’s Day, you’re in luck! Because there are simple recipes that will make you feel as if you were in Dublin.

Hal Brock, an ambassador for Dublin’s highly acclaimed Teeling Whiskey, showed us how to make two variations of Irish Coffee --hot and iced, using an Irish coffee kit to help you make this popular drink without the hassle!

Irish Coffee Recipe

- 1 ½ parts Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey

- 4 parts Local Coffee Roast - Variety Coffee

- ½ part Demerara Syrup

- Bar spoon of Heavy Cream

Method: In a warmed glass, mix Teeling Whiskey, brewed coffee, and syrup and stir to combine. Top with cream from the back of a bar spoon. Garnish with grated nutmeg.

Iced Irish Coffee Recipe

- 2 parts Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey

- 2 parts Cold Brew - Variety Coffee

- ½ part Demerara Syrup

- Bar spoon of heavy cream

Method: Shake Teeling Whiskey, syrup, and cold brew over ice. Strain into a chilled glass filled with ice. Top with cream and garnish with grated nutmeg.
