Houston Severe Weather Threat: Be prepared, and stay ahead of the storm

HOUSTON – Houston faces a threat of severe weather Thursday as a storm system moving through southeast Texas brings rounds of showers and thunderstorms.

The first round of storms are expected Thursday morning followed by a brief lull before an uptick in showers and storms in the evening. Some of the storms could potentially bring large hail and damaging winds in addition to heavy rainfall.
