New license plate offers show of love for Texas rivers

HOUSTON – Ready to show love for rivers across the Lone Star State?

A new conservation license plate is being offered to Texas drivers for $30 who would like to proudly display the new license plates on their vehicle.

Money paid for the plates benefits the Conserving Texas Rivers Initiative along with the River Access and Conservation Areas Program.

Plates may be purchased online at conservationplate.org or in-person at the county tax office and are usually ready within 2 to 3 weeks.
