HOUSTON – Gray skies, fog, rain, mist and even a snowflake or sleet pellet here and there – Houston certainly gets a mixed bag during the winter.

This year, it seemed that sunshine was a luxury rather than a given. Many people expressed dismay when the sun would disappear behind the clouds for what seemed like weeks at a time.
