The cool front did take down humidity levels for Wednesday morning making the morning run/walk a little more manageable. However, we’ll be back into the low 90s for the afternoon hours but highs in the low 90s and feels like numbers in the mid 90s is better than we’ve seen all week!
The front will weaken and stall out which may bring a few more isolated showers along the coast Wednesday. A second front will slide into the area on Thursday, although, most of those storms will it will hold off until later in the evening into late night.
Take care of yourself in this heat:
Remember to take breaks to avoid heat exhaustion if you plan to be outside. It usually takes our bodies a few weeks to acclimate to the typical summer Houston heat.
10-day forecast:
Temperatures may see a dip back into the 80s as rain chances increase slightly for Memorial Day weekend.
Right now, it looks like 20-30% should cover our weekend but storm chances ramp up for Memorial Day and a good chunk of next week.
