Houston welcomes humidity relief on Wednesday, light rain also expected along the coast

A break in the intense humidity for at least a day to kick off midweek.

HOUSTONWednesday’s Forecast:

A weak “cool” front set morning lows in the 60s and 70s, but don’t expect much relief out high will be in the 90s, but do expect slightly lower humidity!

We will track the chance of light rain during your morning commute, generally along the coast.

The cool front did take down humidity levels for Wednesday morning making the morning run/walk a little more manageable. However, we’ll be back into the low 90s for the afternoon hours but highs in the low 90s and feels like numbers in the mid 90s is better than we’ve seen all week!

The front will weaken and stall out which may bring a few more isolated showers along the coast Wednesday. A second front will slide into the area on Thursday, although, most of those storms will it will hold off until later in the evening into late night.

Right now, it looks like 20-30% should cover our weekend but storm chances ramp up for Memorial Day and a good chunk of next week.
