🚗Your weekly traffic update: Expect closures for the 4th annual Lemonade Dash

HOUSTON – Hello Space City,

We are in for another warm weekend! If you are heading to the Lemonade Dash you may be able to catch a breeze while running. But be sure to plan your route! There will be road closures.

4th Annual Lemonade Dash

Do you enjoy running and staying active during the summer? Well, grab your running shoes! This Saturday people will hit the streets for the 4th Annual Lemonade Dash. The event is part of a three-race series and will kick off at Karbach Brewing Co. There will be free parking at the location and at Delmar Stadium. So, be on the lookout for signage!

Since the 5k/10k starts at 7:30 am, you can expect to see street closures early Saturday morning.

Event Closures

According to the City of Houston, here are the closures you can expect:

  • Dacoma in between Karbach St. & Mangum road
  • SB lanes of Mangum between Dacoma & W. 18th Street
  • WB lanes on W. 18th & northwest curb lane of Hempstead Road
  • Between W. 18th and Antoine Road
  • NB lanes on Antoine Dr. between Hempstead & Mitchelldale
  • EB lanes on Mitchelldale St. between Antoine Dr. & Central Pkwy
  • SB lanes on Central Pkwy
  • EB lanes on Dacoma
