Multiple westbound lanes of I-10 are closed at Wayside Drive after an 18-wheeler struck a bridge and lost it’s load.
A driver died in a single-vehicle crash in northeast Houston early Sunday morning when a Honda Civic collided with a tree near Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive. The incident was reported at 3:43 a.m., with the driver found trapped inside the vehicle and not breathing, and was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner's office.
The crash happened at the intersection of Wayside Drive and Market Street on Tuesday night. Houston Police said the bicyclist died from his injuries, and they do not suspect impaired driving.
