The public is welcome to come watch the goats at work as they cover almost 7 acres of land.

The goats are back in action, munching away to help keep our trails and habitats healthy.

A Conroe business owner saw a need and he made the drive to Houston to fulfill it. Ted Ludwig of Grass Knuckles Lawn Care unloaded his equipment and spent the day mowing and cleaning up 91-year-old Jessie Lara’s north Houston yard.

150 goats are back at the Arboretum to help with the overgrown vegetation in the areas around the trail.
