Alex Pullin, a two-time world snowboard champion and Winter Olympian, drowned Wednesday while he was spearfishing in an artificial reef on Australia's Gold Coast. A nearby snorkeler first noticed Pullin's body the morning of the incident and reported it to local authorities. Pullin's accomplishments in the sport include winning gold medals in the cross event at the 2011 La Molina and 2013 Stoneham world championships. Siesta Keystar Alex Kompothecras has been fired from the MTV show after alleged racist comments posted on social media resurfaced. In a statement given to ET on Tuesday, an MTV spokesperson confirmed that they had cut ties with Kompothecras. "Weve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence. He will not be in future seasons of Siesta Key," the spokesperson said. Quarantine life has created interesting TikTok pranks, and Reagan Howard found a way to fool her fiancee, Houston Astros’ third baseman Alex Bregman. Using the “neck snap” prank on Bregman, Howard used a piece of hard pasta and asked him to help her crack her neck. When Bregman came by, he moved Howard’s head and flinched after hearing a loud “crack”. Both Bregman and Howard are active in the community aside from their quarantine shenanigans.
