SINKHOLE

Drivers were running their vehicles into a large sinkhole Monday morning in northwest Houston.

An apparent sinkhole that seems to be growing on a northeast side street is raising concerns for people in the community who say calls for repairs seem to be going unanswered.

A large sinkhole reported in Memorial Village is causing major traffic delays Friday afternoon.

One Houston area family says despite numerous repairs, a sinkhole keeps popping up in their front yard and is now threatening their home’s foundation.

Back in May, a farm in Mexico started developing a sinkhole that has since caused the evacuation of a family living in a nearby house, the collapse of that same house and a rescue operation for two dogs that, like the house, were also swallowed up by the sinkhole.
