The Houston mayor said his administration has a plan to address high water bill issues in our city. He made the announcement late Tuesday, the same day multiple Houston City Council members submitted a notice to place water bill relief on the city council agenda. This is all a result of KPRC 2โฒs DRAINED investigations.

On Tuesday, 27 people signed up to speak about their water bill problems after KPRC 2 Investigates asked the community to address the council after 18 months of reporting on unexplained water usage, meter readings, and billing problems.

Kim Ogg claims victory with results showing reelection in Harris County District Attorney race
HOUSTON โ Democratic Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg claimed victory Tuesday night after preliminary results showed her holding an eight-point lead over her Republican opponent. District Attorney races do not generate much money or attention in comparison to other races. TV screens will validate that position because there will be very little ads, if any, making the rounds on screens in most District Attorney races. In Harris County, District Attorney Kim Ogg is the incumbent. Part of her strategy has been to question the safety of Harris County.

HOUSTON โ Incumbent Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg is projected to win the Democratic nomination. Elected in 2016, Ogg is leading the investigation in the botched Harding Street Raid. The Republican contenderMary Nan Huffman widely beat out two contenders โ Lloyd Wayne Oliver and Lori DeAngeloโ for her partyโs ticket in the race for Harris County District Attorney. Huffman served as the Montgomery County District Attorney for nearly 10 years. In 2016, Huffman named Child Abuse Prosecutor of the Year and joined the Board of Directors of Childrenโs Safe Harbor, Texasโ seventh largest childrenโs assessment center.
