New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announces a comprehensive in-principle free trade agreement with the UK, arrived at after 16 months of talks. London said the deal ends tariffs on British exports such as clothing, footwear, ships and bulldozers. It estimated that trade between the two countries last year was worth ยฃ2.3 billion ($3.2 billion, 2.7 billion euros).

The stock market election indicator should be good for Trump, but this year could be an exception
But strategists say the so-called stock market indicator may not be working for President Donald Trump, and it looks like the market is betting on a win by Joe Biden. "You could say the market is discounting that Trump is going to lose," said Daniel Clifton, Strategas Research head of policy research. "Normally, the S&P predicts the presidential election, but that's usually confirmed by the election portfolio." Clifton said a portfolio of stocks that should do well during a Biden presidency have been outperforming Trump stocks. Stovall said those two election periods were affected by geopolitical disruptors, and this year the market is already pricing in some of Biden's policies.

Nutcracker Market going all virtual this year
HOUSTON โ The Nutcracker Market will be going all virtual this year. The market, which is the largest single fundraiser for the Houston Ballet, will be extended to a monthlong event for online shopping. More than 200 merchants have signed up to participate in the virtual event that will run from Nov. 11 to Dec. 11. The holiday tradition was set to open its 40th year at NRG Center on Nov. 11.
