A surveillance camera captured a man stealing a whole bundle of mail from a condominium complex in the Tanglewood neighborhood on Wednesday morning.

Two men are accused of stealing mail from a large drop box in Sugar Land on Dec. 30, police said Wednesday.

A small business in the Spring Branch area is struggling after months of not receiving checks from its customers, but not because the money hasn’t been mailed to them.

Daniel McIver, 29, and 26-year-old Eric Berry were arrested at a north Houston hotel. Both are charged with felony identity theft and possession of a controlled substance. McIver also faces a charge of tampering with a government record, according to the Constable’s Office.

Mail theft has become so rampant in Houston. The United States Postal Inspection Service has created a Houston mail theft jump team to investigate and try to stop the theft of mail and robberies of mail carriers.
