The wait is finally over, Margaritaville will welcome its first overnight guests on Friday, June 26. The Jimmy Buffet-themed resort which originally planned for a July 1 opening is now taking reservations a few days sooner. Margaritaville Lake Resort at Lake Conroe is located at 600 Margaritaville Parkway in Montgomery. The new property featuring 335 luxurious guest suites with panoramic lake views will be operated by the global hospitality company Benchmark. Toothsome Chocolate Factory and Savory Feast Emporium will open later this year at Universal CityWalk. The restaurant joins Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and the Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant is replacing NBA City, which closed in August. The 19th century Steampunk-inspired restaurant has a lineup of unique menu items. "You’ll even be able to watch chocolate creations being made—and purchase your very own from the restaurant’s retail shop to take home and enjoy, " Modesto Alcala vice president of revenue operations said in company blog post.
