Cheryl Reeve is taking a break from her busy WNBA season to head to Knoxville this weekend and be inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

The WNBA announced Wednesday that WNBA and NBA owners unanimously approved the sale of the Connecticut Sun and the team’s relocation to Houston ahead of the 2027 season.

Pending WNBA approval, the Connecticut Sun are moving to Houston next season to become the Houston Comets.

A major transformation could soon be underway at Toyota Center, as a $180-million renovation plan is expected to go before officials for approval later today.
