Invesco Shares of Invesco tanked more than 14% after the asset manager reported disappointing quarterly results. Invesco earned 34 cents in the first quarter, missing analysts' estimate of 52 cents, according to FactSet. The company did beat Wall Street expectations for its first quarter, reporting $3.07 in earnings per share and $873.1 million in revenue. PulteGroup reported earnings per share of 74 cents, while analysts estimates 70 cents per share, according to Refinitiv. The company, which has a market cap of under $1 billion, reported earnings of $1.36 per share on $473 million in revenue.

Noble Energy, Apache, Williams, Schlumberger Energy stocks rose broadly, boosted by a massive surge in oil prices. Dish Network, Vonage, Comcast and AT&T Communications stocks largely rallied as Dish Network, Vonage and Comcast rose 21%, 17% and 6%, respectively.

Domino's puts bubble tea bubbles on pizza and people don't hate it
Domino's via CNN(CNN) - It might be the ultimate meeting of eastern and western cuisine -- Taiwan's famous bubble tea as a topping on a Domino's pizza. It'll only be served until the end of November, giving bubble tea lovers just a few weeks to grab a slice. Domino's isn't the first pizza store in Taiwan to serve bubble tea pizza, however. "People like bubble tea and people like pizza," Foodie Star owner Chen Yun Yu told CNN, although she admitted that their variation had been controversial. "We recognize that some people love our bubble tea pizza and some people really don't like it."
Domino's is losing the pizza wars on Wall Street

The competition is hurting Domino's stock -- and lifting its rivals. is up nearly 25% and Papa John's has soared more than 35%.
You can get paid to taste test Domino's garlic bread
The pizza chain is looking for a taste-tester for its garlic bread in Brisbane, Australia. They must also have "working taste buds" and have "burned their fingers at least once not being able to wait for the garlic bread to cool down." Garlic bread is one of the chain's iconic beloved products -- Domino's Australia sold almost 42,000 garlic breads on National Garlic Day last year, according to the company. But it's not just garlic bread on the table -- the taste-tester will also get an exclusive chance to taste products that have not yet been released to the public. Elsewhere in the US earlier this year, a promotion used artificial intelligence on the Domino's app to identify pizza as pizza.
Pizza Hut is making a comeback

Pizza Hut also is launching an interactive game called "Hut Hut Win" that will give customers a chance to win NFL merchandise and free food. Pizza Hut is also stepping up its digital game with leading apps on Apple's iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. But even without any plant-based products on the horizon just yet, Pizza Hut is still enjoying a solid comeback. "The second quarter, globally, was one of the best for Pizza Hut in a long time.
Fast food companies betting big on delivery

The promotion, which let customers order both the regular and Impossible Whopper for $7, was only available through DoorDash. "We have seen very little guest overlap between our own in-app delivery and our third-party delivery partner apps," he added. The holdoutFor Domino's, delivery is a big deal. By outsourcing delivery, food companies are essentially outsourcing their brand management, as well.
Domino's UK stockpiles pizza ingredients due to Brexit fears
(CNN) - Pizza chain Domino's has spent 7 million ($8.5 million) to stockpile imported ingredients that might not be available if Britain crashes out of the European Union. The UK arm of the American fast food company said in an earnings statement on Tuesday that a disorderly Brexit "carries the increased risk of disruption to raw material supplies." The company imports about a third of its supplies from outside Britain including tomato sauce, frozen chicken, pineapple and tuna. "We expect the increased inventory level related to Brexit to be maintained into 2020," the company added. The British government has been working on preparedness plans in an attempt to minimize shortages following a disorderly Brexit, and has sought to assuage public fears of disruption.
Where tomorrow's technology is born
It probably sounds like something out of science fiction, but it's as real as the Domino's pizza that showed up and fed a 60 Minutes crew. Kapur is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab, an interdisciplinary research lab that advances technology through creative even outlandish ideas. CBS NewsBut when Kapur told the 60 Minutes crew he could use his device to order pizza, they were skeptical. MIT Media Lab professor Hugh Herr (right) has developed prosthetics technology that electronically connects computers in a robotic foot with the muscles and nerves in the wearer's leg. Researchers at the Media Lab continue to make advances.

Guillermo Robles, who is blind, has tried to order a custom pizza from Domino's at least twice in recent years, using the company's website and mobile app. He says despite using screen reading software, he wasn't able to order the food, because the website is not accessible to blind people. Now, the Supreme Court may weigh in. Robles is one of an increasing number of Americans with disabilities who are bringing lawsuits under the ADA against businesses they say are discriminating against them by not providing accessible websites. Domino's has petitioned the Supreme Court to hear Robles' case, where it could prove to be a landmark battle over the rights of disabled people on the internet.
